new jellyfish….Lemon Aurelia Suspended

Filed under: jellyfish painting, loose watercolor — laurenmaurerartworks @ 2:38 pm

This one’s done in  lighter colors and I can just feel it floating around…I never really had a fondness for jellyfish until I started painting them. Can jellyfish be graceful? I think so.

  3. Thanks, guys! Maybe I'll send some samples to the Atlanta Aquarium where I took the original photos that inspired the jellyfish.

  5. This painting is just delightful! Great composition and bold use of color. "Graceful" is certainly an appropriate word to use to describe this one. Thanks for the inspiration, Lauren.
