Pelican 16 – New Watercolor Painting

Filed under: blue and orange rowboat, rowboats watercolor painting original print, rowing — laurenmaurerartworks @ 5:22 pm

The water is wide, I can’t cross over

and neither I have wings to fly
give me a boat that can carry two
and both shall row – my love and I

~Sarah McLaughlan

This painting was done for Dana Marie’s Inspiration All Around Us blog. I love love love to paint rowboats! This one I loved for the blues and oranges and for how weathered it looks.

  1. I love row boats too! I can tell you had a good time painting this. The strokes of color are light and bright. Bravo!

  4. Ha ha! Alisa, I find it really hard to fill those things out, so I decided to do it in list form and just type the first things that came to mind! Not too many people can appreciate good oral hygiene! Thank you, Sheila and Lori! I really did have fun with this one and Sheila I LOVED your latest post! 🙂
