She sells sea shells by the sea shore… New Original Watercolor Painting "Sandy Shadows"

Filed under: coastal, shell, watercolor painting — laurenmaurerartworks @ 8:30 pm
The latest from my Edisto trip! I am thinking that there will be many more shells to come. Maybe some that are focused in on a small area of the shell- abstract almost? I used 300lb instead of the usual 140lb because I really wanted this one to be loose and splattery.

  2. I love these Lauren!!!I really believe you've captured the smooth yet sandy texture of the beach. Excellent compositions and you chose a very soothing color palette. Do more!
