East Battery, Charleston

Filed under: charleston, south carolina, trolley, watercolor painting — laurenmaurerartworks @ 8:12 pm
I took a picture of this trolley in Charleston, South Carolina on East Battery. I love the green and orange together and the beautiful homes behind it. I love pretty much everything about Charleston – the cobblestone streets, the historic homes, the beaches, the landscaping, the seafood (Hymans Restaurant is the best), the southern hospitality- We went to North Carolina for a weekend vacation and I thought from pictures that I had seen that I would fall in love with it but the truth is I’m a South Carolina girl all the way… I had fun and it was beautiful there but there’s no place like home!

  2. I love Charleston, too. This a lovely memory of it; nice airy, breezy feel of the city, that you captured well, Lauren.
