Bulkhead Buoys

Filed under: lobster buoys, long island, north shore, watercolor painting — laurenmaurerartworks @ 8:48 pm
My Grandma Marj and Grandpa Herb live on the North Shore on Long Island, right on the Sound. Their house is amazing, complete with “The Bulkhead”, which has rung in a New Year or two, seen many a beach party, oyster roasts, camping trips, two engagements, and a wedding. It is a great place to be and I wish I got there more often!

  2. I've always loved the Atlantic seaboard and the life that surrounds the coastal towns. Those colorful buoys are an instant reminder of that life. Nice painting.
