Snail Mail Fun with Gina Lee Kim and The Artists Way

Filed under: Uncategorized — laurenmaurerartworks @ 7:55 pm

We all spend so much time online that we forget the joys of snail mail. Or at least I do, unless I’ve ordered something online and am waiting for it to arrive via snail mail! So when my sweet friend Gina Lee Kim came up with the idea to incorporate a 12 week project to go along with the 12 weeks of The Artist’s Way, I was super excited! Above is the sketch of her idea… Yay! Something fun in the mail every week! I’ll be posting each week’s progress! I am really excited to read this book- I’ve heard so many great things about it! The book deals with recovering your sense of identity, power, integrity, possibility, abundance, strength, compassion, selp-protection, autonomy, and faith as a artist.

  1. Wow. Did your book arrive already? I think this is going to be an awesome collaboration!! You're going to help me tremendously to stick with something & finish Cameron's book… for once!

  9. Lauren, I wish you all great luck on your adventure. When I picked up my brushes again 5 years ago, after a 35 year hiatus, I had taken a 12 week journey through The Artist's Way. It was a special, spiritual journey that brought me back to where I should have been for all those years! I actually retired from the financial world and became a full time artist. It has been the most rewarding, challenging and fulfilling time of my life! Happy Journey!
