Little Mona Lisa

This little girl has a very curious smile! I thought she was such a cutie pie- I love her messy hair and how she looked like might be up to some mischief!

James Parker is good enough to us painter bloggers and writers to post a different subject (or two or three) to be painted or written about each month. There is also a challenge for photographers! Very fun!

  4. I find portraits in watercolor almost impossible to do. You have not only capture the little girls face at an expressive moment but the clarity of your washes are so clean and decisive. A very nice painting.

  9. yes, very cute ragamuffin look to her. much more realistic than a primped, polished little girl. I have one and know that the former is much more common. 🙂 I am so glad that you found my blog and look forward to exploring yours further. i am signing up to follow now. Hope your week is going well. ~Sara
